What Is The National Animal Of Bangladesh

 The official animal of Bangladesh is the Royal Bengal Tiger (or subspecies Panthera tigris Tigris). The Bengal Tiger is the national animal of about five countries of the world, the others being India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan. 

The Bengal Tiger is the largest of all the tiger subspecies. It has greyish to reddish-brown fur with white to pale yellow stripes. One can find Bengal Tigers in the Indian states of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and southern China.

 The country has adopted the Bengal Tiger as its National Animal since 1959. The Bangladesh Tiger Conservation Society has been working to protect the Bengal Tiger and its habitat.
